It is through play that children explore, integrate, engage and build their understanding of the world and those around them.

 

At Chinchilla Christian College we welcome families to our vibrant Playgroup as we gather each week in our beautiful outdoor play space for an informal morning together.

 

Our morning consists of free play where children can explore, engage in a variety of hands on, open ended play experiences. This occurs in an environment where they can freely build on a broad range of developmental areas and be immersed in social opportunities. Adults are encouraged to spend time with their little ones during this time while also having the opportunity to enjoy the company of, and be encouraged by, other parents, grandparents and carers. Our morning then concludes with a quiet time where we share a story together.

Playgroup runs each Thursday morning, term time, from 9:30 – 11:00am at the College. We cater for those with young children not yet of school age. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to meeting you and your little ones.
