Head of Secondary
Welcome to our Secondary School!
I really believe that teaching is a vocation that that has one of the most directly positive impacts on the world – second only to the precious role of parenting!
Secondary School teaching, in particular, is of special significance. It is during these formative ‘teenage’ years that our students build confidence in their God-given gifts and passions and overcome challenges to build maturity and personal responsibly, while also developing life-lasting foundations of identify and character.
If you visit our Secondary School, you will find a dynamic place full of happy children who are provided with a myriad of creative, sporting, and vocational opportunities that complement our strong academic focus. I’m proud to lead a team of exceptional teachers who are committed to our mission of providing a Christ-centred, high-quality education to each of the students in their care.
To find out more about our Secondary School, please review the ‘Secondary School Handbook’ and keep up to date with the latest school news, events (and stories of student success!) via the school’s newsletter and social media platforms. Better yet, you’re welcome to book a tour to experience for yourself the difference Chinchilla Christian College could make for your family.
Junior Secondary is a rapid period of growth and change in the lives of our children as they transition from childhood into adolescents. At this stage, the students’ creativity, energy and interest levels are high. To make the most of this stage, we have created learning that is both fun and engaging.
Students entering the Senior Phase of schooling at Chinchilla Christian College are encouraged and supported along their pathway to ultimately becoming part of a work or academic community at the completion of Senior.
Undertaking studies in Senior Secondary provides students with a wonderful opportunity to maximise their effort in their final school years. The Senior Secondary program at Chinchilla Christian College offers a clear balance between academic challenge and pastoral support to equip and support students towards positive pathways of success in life, work and learning.
